Viking Swim Club Mission Statement: Viking Swim
Club, Inc. is a non-profit corporation whose
purpose is to run a competitive swim program for children up to
the age of 19. The only requirement for swimmer membership
is the ability to swim one length of the pool unaided. Swimmers
compete
in meets in Alaska and elsewhere. The swim program is run under
the auspices of USA Swimming, and all meets and time trials are
sanctioned by USA Swimming.
Announcements
Sign-ups for the Olympic Athlete Meet are tomorrow night in the Elementary school library. This should be a fun meet. Tom Jager is the athlete that will be in Ketchikan.
Please note the new schedule changes:
STARTING NEXT MONDAY, UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON: A and B Groups will start at 3:00 pm, C Group will begin at 4:00 and end at 5:30.

Viking Gear Available at the VSC Swim shop: Swim Shop will be open during signups to purchase your practice & competition swim suits, goggles, gears and spears. You will also have a selection of great team apparel to choose from!
All swimmers are encouraged to get fins. You can buy them on-line. The recommended style is Speedo Trialon. Also if your swimmer is in C-Group, the should consider getting paddles. Both are available online at highpointswim.
Dues are due no later than the 6th of each month. You can mail them to Karilyn Reid or find her at the pool.
