Head Coach: Coach Colin was born and raised in Southern California. He grew up swimming and playing water polo. After high school, he attended Santa Monica College, where he was a three time All-American. Later, he transferred to Cal State Northridge and swam for their NCAA Division I swim team. After Northridge, he went to work in the marketing department for Speedo for three years where he worked with the sponsored teams and athletes. He also worked on the launch of the new FSII suit, and worked with the Olympic athletes that made the team in 2004. After Speedo, and right before joining the Viking Swim Club, he went to work for the USA National Water Polo Team, as the National Teams Program Manager, and as an Assistant Age Group Coach for Team Santa Monica. Ass't. Coach: Coach Lisa grew up in Petersburg, Alaska. She swam for VSC and PHS for a total of 12 years. At 17 she became WSI certified and began teaching lessons. After graduating from Petersburg High School in 1999 she moved to Corvallis, OR to attend Oregon State University from 1999-2004. During this time she worked at Osborn Aquatic Center as a Swim America teacher, Swim America lesson supervisor, private instructor, and head lifeguard. She specialized in working with developmental swimmers and teaching parent/tot lessons. She returned to Alaska and began coaching with Viking Swim Club in 2004. Current certifications include: Red Cross WSI and LGI. |
